Privacy Policy

Michael Robert Construction is a residential design-build and construction firm in Westfield, New Jersey. This page explains what happens to the information you send us through this website.

What we collect

We collect information only when you choose to send it. The Start a Project form asks for your name, email address and phone number, optionally a partner’s name and email, the project address or town, how you prefer to be contacted, how you heard about us, whether you own the property, the kind of project you are planning, its design status, timeframe and anticipated investment range, whether you are interested in interior design, and whatever you tell us about your goals.

We ask for the investment range so we can tell you honestly and early whether we are the right firm for your project. Nothing on this site asks for payment details or any government identification number, and we do not run a mailing list.

Why we collect it

To answer your inquiry and, if the project is a fit, to plan it with you. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the firm except the service providers named below, who process it on our behalf.

Where it goes

A form submission is emailed to our studio through Resend, our email delivery provider, and recorded as a row on a private Google Sheet that only the firm can open. We keep inquiries for as long as we may reasonably need them for our records. Project files for work we actually carry out are kept longer, because construction records have to be.

Services this website loads

Some pages embed content from other companies, which can set their own cookies and see your IP address when that content loads:

• Google Maps — the map of our Westfield office in the footer of every page.
• YouTube — on pages with project video tours.
• CoConstruct and Buildertrend — client project-management portals, linked or embedded on a few pages for clients already working with us.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this site: which pages are read, roughly where visits come from, and whether someone sent an inquiry or tapped to call us. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives your IP address and browser details. It does not receive what you type into our forms.

We also use the Google Ads tag to measure whether our advertising leads to inquiries. It records that an inquiry was sent, not its contents. You can limit how Google uses this information in your Google ad settings, or opt out of Google Analytics altogether with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

We do not run any other advertising trackers or marketing pixels on this site.

Children

This site is intended for adults planning work on a home. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@michaelrobertconstruction.com or call 908 232 0134 and we will act on it. You can also simply not use the form — our phone number and email address are on every page, and a phone call leaves no record on this website at all.

Changes

If we change how this site handles information, we will change this page at the same time.
